The closest thing I know of is MountainBizWorks, but there is nothing particularly sustainable or technology-focused about it. There is also SwampFox, which is based out of Upstate SC, but has some WNC based participants. This is a technology-based networking group that is not particularly focused on sustainability, but is good for connecting investors to entrepreneurs

Are you aware of any business or group here in Asheville that combines the efforts of the investing community and the entrepreneurial community into one, so we can form strong ecological and economic growth in our Asheville area, and not be so subject to what is happening at the world and national levels? I know that we can never be entirely immune from the financial crisis happening around us, but small businesses need investors, and investors need to know who they are investing with. Just an idea.
